The annual Cape Town Prawn Festival will be held at Kenilworth Racecourse on Saturday February 25. The horse racing highlight on the day will be the running of the Vasco Prix Du Cap contest for fillies and mares over 1 400m with a stake of R250 000 on offer. Racegoers will also be entertained by a jazz band and a DJ and there will be enough to keep the kids entertained. A total of R50 000 worth of prizes will be given away, with one lucky racegoer set to walk away with a grand prize of home appliances to the value of R20 000.
