Police have arrested a 41-year-old Tanzanian man in Rosebank for dealing drugs.
Rondebosch police spokesman Warrant Officer Lyndon Sisam said two officers patrolling Lower Hope Road, at 7.30pm on Thursday July 8, had noticed the driver of a white Nissan Almera handing something through the car window to a man standing nearby.
The man ran off when he spotted the blue light, but the officers apprehended the driver.
According to Warrant Officer Sisam, they found him holding a bag of dagga in one hand and money in the other, and in the car, they found a rucksack with a 46 large bags and 18 medium bags of dagga, R3100 in cash and a cellphone.
