Residents, who live in areas serviced by the Woodstock Collections Depot, have been warned of refuse collection this week.
The depot has been temporarily closed for decontamination after a staff member tested positive for Covid-19.
The affected areas include Claremont, Kenilworth, Rondebosch, Factreton, Kensington, Sea Point, Thornton, Langa, Sea Point-Trade, Foreshore, Milnerton, Thornton, Gardens, Observatory, Woodstock, Green Point, Oranjezicht, Woodstock-Trade, Mouille Point, Pinelands, Zonnebloem, Harfield Village and Dunoon.
The City says contingency measures are in place to address the delays in service. Refuse bins must please be taken out daily until they are serviced.
