Woodstock residents were plunged into darkness on Tuesday February 23, when a truck navigating Regent Street, around Regent Square, hit an electricity pole. Electricity cables snapped and were littered across the road. When the Tatler arrived on the scene, electricity cables were scattered around the area as the City of Cape Town frantically worked on the site. Several hours later the electricity was switched on.
