There will be live acoustic music on Sunday October 9 at Alma Café, Alma Road, Rosebank, at 6pm for 6.30pm. Full Moon Serenade started life as a show Jan-Daniël wanted to put together showcasing local talent. As the line-up changed, so did the essence of the show. The line-up is a trio of local singer songwriters collaborating on each other’s originals and the odd cover.
Karla Valentine is a singer, pianist, guitarist and flautist. Expect soulful melodies with blues undertones. No Syntax is the stage name Jan-Daniël de Villiers adopted after taking his own music seriously around 2014. Keeping true to his name, his style varies significantly.
The Colours Red & Blue is a very intermittent solo project by Paul de Villiers when he’s not playing keys with Dangerfields or bass with Goodkat. Inspired by styles from indie to soul, he aims to keep it simple – sticking to keyboards and drum machine.
