Athletes from schools and clubs in the False Bay and Southern Zone school districts competed at last week’s Western Province High Schools and Western Province Athletics Junior championships, at Vygieskraal, in Athlone.
Qualifying athletes are now battling it out at the Western Cape championships, at Dal Josafat Stadium in Paarl, for a spot at the national championships. Primary school athletes also wrapped their Western Cape championship, in Paarl, last week.
