Rondebosch station commander, Lieutenant Colonel, Barbara Breedt urged residents to park their vehicles inside the garage or behind locked gates if possible.
“We understand the limited amount of parking available at apartments but please ensure that vehicles parking along the side of the road are locked and all electronic security devices are activated,” she said.
Lieutenant Colonel Breedt said all vehicles should be parked in well-lit areas and that all valuables in the cars should be removed from plain view.
