■ Livingstone High School won the first prize of R8 000 at the 17th annual Business Development Games. The winners were announced on Friday October 5 by the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants (SAICA). This year, 190 pupils from 19 schools were chosen to participate in the Western Cape leg of the games,held at UWC in September. The Business Development Games is a school initiative brought to pupils by the SAICA and Coronation. The games had schools participating against each other as pupils tackle real-world business situations to make the most money for their businesses.
