■ Ward 58 councillor Sharon Cottle has joined the Har-Lyn Neighbourhood Watch. After four patrols with different mentors, she qualified as a patroller and on her fifth patrol was issued with her ID card and all the necessary equipment. “I firmly believe that all residents should be active citizens and care about what happens in their immediate neighbourhood and community,” she said.
