Lansdowne police arrested a 47-year-old man in Rondebosch East on Thursday February 25 on charges of dealing in drugs and possession of Illegal ammunition.
The arrest at around noon followed a tip-off, says Lansdowne police spokesman Sergeant Nkululeko Mnyaka.
Officers had searched a house in Rondebosch East where they had found drugs in the bedroom and in a backyard storeroom, including 150 mandrax tablets, dagga and 15 bullets, he said.
Sergeant Mnyaka said the suspect had appeared in the Wynberg Magistrate’s court on Monday March 1.
