Log leaders Victoria Cricket Club kept their hopes of gaining promotion alive when they beat Bonteheuwel by 175 runs in a Western Province Cricket Association Premier Division B match, at the Metropolitan Oval, on Saturday. Vics won the toss and elected to bat first, scoring 360 in 50 overs. Jordan Fourie top scored for the visitors with 118. In reply, the home side was dismissed for 185.
