Steinway artist Christopher Duigan presents an all-Chopin recital at Christ Church Constantia on Sunday March 5, at 3pm.
His programme includes Grande Valse brillante op 18, the Minute Waltz, the Waltz in C-sharp minor, Nocturne in Eb op 9, Polonaise op 53 and Ballades No 1 and 3.
Widely regarded as one of South Africa’s leading concert pianists, Duigan has performed extensively with the KwaZulu-Natal, Cape and Johannesburg philharmonic orchestras in a repertoire of more than 25 concerti.
He completed his studies at the Royal Northern College of Music (RNCM) in Manchester with Brazilian virtuoso Arnaldo Cohen where he was awarded the Professional Performer’s Diploma
