Thieves no longer jamming after arrest

Police arrested two men, in Main Road, Woodstock, last Wednesday, who are believed to be behind several remote-jamming-related thefts from cars in the area.

Woodstock police spokesman Sergeant Hilton said community police forum acting chairman Youssef Kanouni had been following up on reports of remote-jamming thefts in the area, when he and an officer had spotted two suspects.

Uponsearchingthe men, police recovered from their possession one piece of a spark plug, expensive men’s perfume, car keys and a remote-jamming de-
vice, said Captain Malila.

Police later found that the perfume had been stolen from a car parked in Main Road.
