* The School of Rock Claremont is paying homage to reggae, as well as the significant influences of funk, in its first show of the year, taking place at Zip Zap Circus in the city centre on Saturday April 9, from 1pm to 4pm.
The show will include performances from the school’s young Rock 101 kids, performance and adult performance programme students as well as artist music instructors. Up-tempo songs such as Jamiroquai’s You Give Me Something or Bob Marley’s Could You Be Loved are just some of the iconic pieces to feature on the bill.
Tickets cost R120 each. Food and drinks will be on sale at the Zip Zap Circus.
Doors open at 12.30pm. Contact Leigh Spaun on lspaun@schoolofrock.com or 021 671 9580.
