On Sunday February 5, my daughter and I set off from Kenilworth to meet my mother at Maitland cemetery, where we planned to trim my father’s grave.
In Ndabeni, our car broke down, and we discovered that neither of us had cellphones – my elderly mother would already be alone at the cemetery, waiting for
us.
Just then, a lovely family from Pinelands stopped and cheerfully insisted on delivering us to the cemetery, which was quite a distance away.
We were so grateful for their kindness.
They went right out of their way to help strangers in distress. Thank you all so much.
