An 8-year-old boy has been seriously injured after a minibus taxi he was travelling on to school overturned on Philip Kgosana Drive this morning.
Four other pupils have been slightly injured while nine others are suffering from shock.
They have all been transported to District Six Day Hospital in Zonnebloem for treatment.
The road has since been reopened.
Police are investigating the cause of the accident. They’ve opened a docket for reckless and negligent driving and fleeing the scene of an accident against the taxi driver.
