Woodstock police arrested three people last week for dealing and possession of drugs.
Officers arrested a suspected drug dealer at a Main Road pub in Observatory at 5.15pm on Tuesday September 3.
According to police, the man, 37, was found with 54 packets of tik, 25 mandrax tablets and a lot of cash.
Woodstock police spokesman, Warrant Officer Hilton Malila, said officers had the pub under surveillance following a tip-off about alleged illicit activities happening inside and outside the venue.
Two hours later, police arrested a man, 37, and a woman, 20, on drug-possession charges, at an Oxford Street residence in Woodstock.
According to Warrant Officer Malila, officers found a bag of high-grade dagga, with a street value of about R5Â 000, in a kitchen cupboard.
