The theme for 2016 at Rondebosch Boys’ Preparatory School is “RBPS – where everyone counts.” Teacher Diane Smith and her Grade 2 boys participated in the Santa Shoebox project as an extension to the 2016 theme “Everyone Counts”. Included in each shoe box are clothes, toothpaste, stationery and toys. The pupils reached out to poorer children in the community to make them feel that they also count at Christmas. Together they printed wrapping paper and cards in art then packed the boxes in class.
