Cape Town Central police are investigating after a man was found dead in District Six last Friday.
The body of the unidentified male was found in Russel Street, after 5am, said provincial police spokesman Captain FC van Wyk.
“No visible gunshot wounds were found on the body. At this stage, the reason for death is unknown. A post-mortem will be conducted to determine the cause of death.”
District Six Neighbourhood Watch chairwoman Ursula Windsor said: “At this stage, we cannot make any further comment as the incident is still being investigated.”
