Ms Ebrahim said she was proud yet “humbled and grateful” to receive the award on behalf of the Pinelands Neighbourhood Watch.
“This award is a shared award, with grateful thanks to the team of the Pinelands Neighbourhood Watch executive committee, Pinelands police and the residents of Pinelands who made it possible for us to fulfil the tasks required of us,” she said.
Mr Fourie said he was humbled by the awards. “These couldn’t have been possible without an amazing dedicated team of Pinelands Neighbourhood Watch,” he said.
Mr Fourie thanked the Pinelands police for their support. “Especially our sector manager, Sergeant Johnny White, who always goes the extra mile for us to make it possible for us to perform the way we do.”
