Twenty-five Grade 12 girls from Salt River High School visited Parliament last month and met President Cyril Ramaphosa, as part of the: “Take a girl child to work” campaign. The pupils also met the Minister for Women in the Presidency, Bathabile Dlamini. It was an inspirational moment for many of the girls, who were served lunch and given new computer tablets, courtesy of Ms Dlamini and a corporate sponsor.
