The Lansdowne Ecumenical Ministers Fraternal held a Palm Sunday procession from the All Saint’s Church in Denver Road, Lansdowne, through the adjacent streets, led by the Young Guiding Stars Brass Band. Palm Sunday heralds the beginning of Holy Week for Christians celebrating Jesus Christ’s entry into Jerusalem. This week Christians commemorate Maundy Thursday, Good Friday and Christ’s resurrection on Easter Sunday.
