■ Bishops will be staging Dale Wasserman’s play, One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest, based on Ken Kesey’s 1962 classic novel, in the Bishops Memorial Theatre, at 7pm, until tomorrow, Friday March 17. The play follows Randle Patrick McMurphy (Logan Tait), a boisterous, fun-loving rebel, who fakes insanity at a prison work farm in order to be transferred to what he thinks will be easier time on the psych ward. McMurphy, endures and stands witness to the abuse and degradation committed by the oppressive Nurse Ratched (Josi Beare) who exercises unbridled control over her patients. She is a cold, tyrant, who rules over the ward with an iron fist. What happens when Nurse Ratched uses her ultimate weapon against McMurphy provides the story’s shocking climax.
