No crossed lines for me

I read the letters in the Thursday November 8, Tatler and sympathise with the readers regarding their Telkom installation/repairs.

I, on the other hand, have to commend Telkom for an excellent service. Two weeks ago, my landline was dead. I also use my landline for work so it is fairly stressful to have no line.

I phoned Telkom at midday; they logged the fault, and the following morning we were advised at 8.30am that the technicians were on their way. They arrived shortly thereafter, found the fault and within three hours my line was up and running. I was very impressed. So thank you, Telkom.
