Media reports by ANC soothsayers allege that DA election posters are sending out confusing messages, is grossly inaccurate and begs a response.
It is not only party leaders Mmusi Maimane and Patricia De Lille’s posters displayed.
If they had taken time to take a drive through the suburban streets of the Cape Metro, they would have noticed the DA candidate ward councillor posters affixed to the municipal street light poles.
The DA is not “too embarrassed” by its elected candidates, who unlike their ANC counterparts, have undergone a rigorous selection process, and proud to display its candidate posters.
The iconic Nelson Mandela belongs to all of South Africa, and not only to the ANC.
The former legendary statesman would certainly not be proud of the embattled ANC fraught with corruption and sex scandals in its upper echelons of leadership. It is the current ANC that has been sending out confusing messages to the electorate, and not the DA.
