Little Ones Educare makes a big effort for funds

The Little Ones Educare will host a Market Day to raise some much needed funds for their school.

A Woodstock nursery school will hold a market day later this month to raise money to improve its facilities.

The Little Ones Educare opened in 1995 at the Woodstock Town Hall. It is Muslim-based but open to all.

Principal Fatimah Lewis took over the running of the school from her mother in 2007. “I was able to see how difficult it really is to maintain the school,” she said.

She hopes the market day, at the town hall, on Saturday April 28, from 10am to 6pm, will raise money and promote the school, which cares for 13 children.

“Funds that are raised will be used to purchase mats for the cold winter months and some wall decals to make it look more inviting.”

To book a stall for the market day, call Ms Lewis at 078 338 5479. Entry is free.
