Rustenburg Girls’ Junior School general knowledge team recently eased their way to the final round of the Inter Schools General Knowledge Quiz.
The team, consisting of, from left, Kate Birch, Kate Spencer, Gia Barbosa, Caitlin Hauxwell, Shelby le Roux, Jodi Bouman-Hughes and Marguerite Ruttmann represented Rustenburg at all three rounds of this event. Rustenburg won their first two rounds which were held at Herschel Preparatory and at Bergvliet Primary respectively. They blazed through to the finals, held at The Grove Primary. Undeterred by the pressure of the final round, the girls sped through the questions with determination and impressed everyone with their knowledge. At the end of the competition, after a tough rapid fire round, they emerged victorious and were awarded the coveted trophy.
