Partners Hair Design Training Academy held its graduation show at its Kenilworth campus on Thursday November 23. With themes like Bohemian Rhapsody and Carnival Candyland, the students’ hair creations were both wild and wonderful. Trainer Judy Garcia said the students had worked tirelessly on their creations, using all kinds of materials to create the fantastical hair designs on show on the night.

The showstopper of the night was this striking hair design shown off by Bianka Hartenstein, who was transformed into a character called Little Harlequin right on the runway.

Tamzyn Januarys hair was much taller than it looks in this picture. Trainer, Judy Garcia revealed that inside the hair creation was a support that ensured Tamzyns upstyle maintained its height.

Mitchells Plain model Zuhaa Hassiems styling was inspired by the Bohemian Rhapsody theme, while that of Crawford model Aneeqah Nasiep, paid tribute to the Carnival Candyland theme. Aneeqahs hair piece even featured real lollipops.

The part-time and full-time students who graduated on Thursday evening were, at back, from left, Janice December, Danel Alberts, Saarah Hassiem, Melissa Williams, Chelsea Wagner, Nurah de Kock, Washieta Abrahams and Rozanne Abrahams.
