Shrill cries and splashes filled Battery Park at the V&A Waterfront on Saturday March 14 as stand-up paddlers took to the canal. The event was an annual fund-raiser for Lamberts and Elands Animal Protection Services (LEAPS) who provide for the needs of animals in townships up the West Coast.
