Scores of people attended a family fun day and fund-raiser at Vine School last Saturday March 14. Those at the fun day had their pick of home-made tasty treats and a variety of crafts on sale. Vine School teacher, Bernadette Williams buys a scrunchie from Grade 3 pupil, Melissa Barnes, while her mother Megan Barnes looks on. Members of the Hope Awakening Centre non-profit organisation, are Charmaine Visagie, Shirnay Jacobs, Jamie Johannes, Bronwyn Jacobs, Rowena Haywood and Keziah Jacobs. Playing on the swing, are Malachi Matthews, back left, watched by his mother Tammy Matthews and front left, India Hess watched by her grandmother Esmaralda Abrahams. Vine School pupils, brothers Joshua and David Leisegang and their mother, Vine School teacher, Tracey Leisegang sold toffee apples, popcorn and ice bites.
