Woodstock police made 18 arrests during crime prevention operations conducted on Thursday January 12. Thirteen people were arrested for drug possession and dealing in drugs, two were arrested for murder and another was arrested in connection with an attempted business burglary.
“We confiscated 47 plastic bags with dagga, three bank plastic bags filled with tik, two units of unga and two mandrax tablets all with an estimated street value of R15 000.
“This kind of integrated crime prevention approach will be conducted on a continuous basis in the Woodstock policing precinct,” said Woodstock police spokesman Sergeant Hilton Malila.
