I had a heart-breaking experience on Saturday April 9, when two German shepherd dogs appeared out of nowhere and mauled my dog, who I think died almost immediately.
My neighbour called the Animal Welfare Society (AWS) which came around to help. One of the AWS staffers said it was one of most vicious attacks she had seen.
Most disappointing and reprehensible is the dog owner’s lack of response to the action of his dogs.
I feel that this story should be shared with the Pinelands community.
