Four people were arrested by the Woodstock police Crime Prevention Unit from premises in Wright Street and Pine Road, for dealing and being in the possession of drugs, last Thursday.
Sergeant Hilton Malila from Woodstock police said in the first incident in Wright Street, police confiscated six plastic bags filled with tik worth an estimated street value of R3 000. A 37-year-old woman and 38-year-old man were arrested.
In Pine Road, police searched a premises and confiscated seven mandrax tablets that was hidden under a bicycle saddle in one of the rooms. A 34-year-old woman and 42-year-old man were arrested.
Sergeant Malila said police seized a substantial amount of cash at both premises.
