Common shows off its beauty

On a crisp winter morning, after days of heavy rainfall, Rondebosch Common showed off its beauty this week.

Chantel Erfort, editor of Cape Community Newspapers, which publishes the Tatler, took these pictures during an early morning run on Tuesday July 13.

Nourished by the abundant winter rains, Rondebosch Common was lush and green.
Clouds start to clear and give way to clear skies.
It’s hard not to experience a sense of awe as light hits raindrops to create a breathtaking arch of colour.
