Charity fun walk

■ Early Years Services (EYS), an Athlone-based non-profit, held a charity fun walk from Rondebosch train station to Newlands and back , on Foetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder Awareness Day, Saturday September 9. The walkers carried posters warning there is no safe amount of alcohol for pregnant women and that Foetal Alcohol Syndrome, while 100% preventable, is irreversible and has a devastating consequences.
