The Charity Book non-profit, which supports a variety of charities, will host a potjiekos competition, at Oude Molen Taven Eco Village, on Heritage Day, Saturday September 24, from 7.30am.
Twenty two-person teams will compete for the title of King/Queen of the Pot. The winning pots will be judged by celebrity chefs Jenny Morris, Scott Parker and Ray van der Zande.
Entry is R200 per team. Live entertainment from 4pm will be hosted by comedian Carl Weber and includes dancers from Forte Wolfe Studios; the band Perfect Fifth SA, featuring AJ Stunner; and various local artists supported by DJ Oscar.
