Gilly-Anne Murray, Upper Claremont
I would like to warn residents of Upper Claremont to be on the lookout for a man offering to fix things in your home.
On Friday afternoon last week, the man came to my home. He knew my name and gave my neighbour as a reference. He said he needed R150 for a transport fare. Unfortunately I gave him the money, but when he left I saw him going to other homes in Eden Road.
He was quite tall and was wearing denim jeans and a waterproof jacket.
This man is very persistent, so I wanted to warn other residents about him.
