The Lilliput Children’s Theatre Company will perform Goldilocks and the Three Bears from Monday July 4 until Saturday July 16 at the Nassau Centre at Groote Schuur High School, Palmyra Road, Newlands, at 10.30am.
This children’s classic follows the adventure of Goldilocks in the forest before her birthday. Her grandfather is organising a birthday party for her. Goldilocks gets lost in the woods and stumbles across a house belonging to the three bears. With nobody home, Goldilocks goes inside and makes herself at home. The three bears come home to find their visitor fast asleep, with hilarious consequences.
Goldilocks and the Three Bears is adapted and directed by Elton John Duffy, who has been producing children’s theatre and delighting audiences for the past 23 years.
This show stars Desle McConney, from Athlone, as Goldilocks, Monique Rockman, from Elsies River, as Mama Bear, Carmen Maarman, from Woodstock, as Baby Bear, Robyn Maree, from Plumstead, as Papa Bear and Elton John Duffy, from Edgemead, as Grandpa.
