The Galileo Open Air Cinema is back with a stellar line-up of movies that will cater to everyone under the sun, or in this case, the stars.
Each year the team behind one of Cape Town’s most popular summer events returns with a bigger and better programme – and this year is no different, with a whopping 22 venues, 125 movies, new food vendors and an all-round awesome experience to boot.
Location is everything, so while keeping all the old favourites in the line-up, there are some exciting additions to the cast of venues this year – from Hillcrest Quarry, Kirstenbosch Gardens and the V&A Waterfront, to rotating Friday night venues in town and bi-monthly screenings at wine estates in Paarl, Stellenbosch and Somerset West.
The Galileo is a must add activity to your summer bucket list.
With so much to look forward to at The Galileo, make sure you don’t miss any of the action or the comedy or the romance.
Proudly presented by Savanna, doors to The Galileo open at 6pm between Tuesday and Friday, 5pm on Saturdays, and 4pm on Sundays, and the movie starts at sunset.
Arrive early to reserve your spot on the lawn, hire a comfy backrest and a warm blanket and treat yourself to a delicious spread of food, alcohol, soft drinks and sugary treats – all on sale at each handpicked venue. Visit www.thegalileo.co.za to book tickets and to view this season’s line-up.
