The Rosebank Theatre has released its line-up of upcoming shows and times. This will be the shows’ last run in Cape Town before heading off to Grahamstown for the National Arts Festival.
Ebola, today, Thursday June 23, and tomorrow, Friday June 24
Directed by Nicholas Ellenbogen, award-winning actress Hilda Cronje, last seen at Grahamstown in Mistress Julie, ventures into the terrifying world of Ebola in this production of the same name. Shows start at 7.30pm and bookings can be made with Liz on 072 3166 133.
Raiders, Spaced Out, the Moon Rock Musical, Saturday June 25, and Sunday June 26
Nicholas Ellenbogen and the Boy Band present the true history of the American moon landing. It’s rock and laughter, it’s jive to survive. The award-winning Standing Ovation team returns. Shows start at 7.30pm and bookings can be made with Liz on 072 3166 133.
Pulp, Thursday July 7 to Sunday July 16
Fresh from winning the Blue Couch Award at the Kyknet Fiestas for producing the most ground-breaking work of 2015, Underground Dance Theatre are back with their latest genre-bending production, Pulp, inspired by all things film noir.
Pulp stars Steven van Wyk, Thalia Laric,and Cilna Katzke Performances begin at 8pm. The July 10 performance is at 3pm. The July 13 performance is at 8pm and there will be two performances on July 16, at 3pm and 8pm.
