La Bohème in District Six at Artscape

* A 90-minute version of Puccini’s classic opera, La Bohème in District Six, will be staged from Thursday April 28 to Sunday May 1, at the Artscape Theatre, to commemorate 50 years since the start of apartheid’s forced removals in District Six. Re-imagined by opera veteran Angelo Gobbato, the opera is directed by Tara Notcutt and accompanied by a live orchestra conducted by Alex Fokkens.
