The Two Oceans Aquarium Education Foundation, the NPO/PBO partner of the Two Oceans Aquarium, promotes ocean literacy and is helping young and old achieve a lifetime of learning, with memberships to their “Crew”.
For R100 a month, Crew members of all ages will receive access to educational resources, from Q&As with animal experts, to ocean-themed crafts and games for the little ones.
You will also be supporting the aquarium foundation’s educational outreach and animal rehabilitation efforts at the aquarium.
There are Crew packages designed for different age groups.
The Mini Crew, for children aged 3 to 7, is designed by a team of qualified ECD teachers to inspire little ocean explorers.
Mini Crew memberships provide weekly “Spunky Sea Stories” episodes especially aimed at youngsters. Segments include “Storytime with Teacher Aisha”, clay crafts, Fit Fishies games and exercises – all with the goal of igniting ocean fascination and healthy living.
Cool Crew is for children aged 8 to 12. They can get to know the ocean with online content. Every month they will have access to a special mini-documentary episode, an online lesson, a Q&A with an expert, and access to an online resource pack.

Pro Crew provides weekly educational content for ages 14 and up, including adults.
