Zip Zap Circus will screen
Journey – A Symphonic Circus online until Sunday September 27.
The production was a collaboration with the Cape Town Philharmonic Orchestra (CPO), the New Apostolic Church KBA Choir and soloist Robin Botha and was originally performed and recorded at the Artscape Opera House in 2017.
This is the third and final show in Zip Zap’s Night at the Circus series.
The circus stars will perform to orchestral masterpieces from Dvorak to Shirley Bassey, Vivaldi to Les Misérables.
“It is a breath-taking production with world-class circus acts in tandem with a world-class orchestra,” says Dr Marlene le Roux, chief executive officer, Artscape Theatre Centre.
The show is under the direction of Brandon Phillips, CPO’s resident conductor.
Tickets are R50 per view through Quicket and the show can be viewed any time before 10pm on Sunday September 27.
