Drew’s Island

■ Ralph Kelly, a resident at SA Legion’s Rosedale, put together a performance of a play called Drew’s Island on Saturday May 20 to a full house at the complex. The thriller was performed in two acts and tells the story of Ruby, who, against all advice, is swept off her feet and marries lighthouse-keeper Drew, played by Walden Davis. Together they go to live on a desolate island. A journalist assigned the task of documenting their lives was played by Anne Greeff, and Cedric, the assistant lighthouse-keeper, was played by John Moulder while Glen Villet was the narrator.. Pictured are Mr Davis and Mr Kelly.
