The Decorex brand was launched in the Mother City in 1999 with the introduction of Decorex Cape Town at Spier Wine Estate, with just 69 exhibitors and 15 000 visitors.
As demand grew, and with the establishment of the Cape Town International Convention Centre (CTICC) in 2003, the site of Decorex Cape Town was relocated to this venue – the first consumer exhibition of its kind for the CTICC.
The notion of direct engagement worked and Decorex Cape Town has since grown to 300 exhibitors showcasing only the best the industry has on offer with over 36000 visitors. Some of the new features to expect include: Rooms to Grow – Baby, Toddler, Tween and Teen, Lighting, Natural, Textile and Design Elements, The Tasting Room Wine Bar, The Kitchen Trend Project and The Bathroom Trend Project.
Decorex Cape Town takes place at the Cape Town International Convention Centre from tomorrow, Friday April 27, to Tuesday May 1, 10am to 6pm daily. Tickets are R110 for adults, R100 for students and pensioners and children under 12 pay R20. Email decorexinfo@reedexpoafrica.co.za or log on to www.decorex.co.za for details.
