Cape Town Big Band Jazz Festival takes place from Wednesday May 29 to Saturday June 1, at the Baxter Theatre Concert Hall, at 7.30pm.
Founded by the late Dennis Barr, the festival is celebrating its 24th anniversary.
This year, the festival showcases 24 big bands from junior and high schools, as well as university and community big bands, and an all-star alumni band led by Professor Mike Campbell.
All funds raised goes back into the community to support music projects.
Tickets range from R100 for pupils, students and senior citizens) to R160 for adults. Book at Webtickets or Pick n Pay stores.
