After Dark

■ The Two Oceans Aquarium and Texx and the City have teamed up for After Dark, a series of music events featuring South African bands in June, July and August. The area in front of the I&J Ocean Exhibit will be transformed into a living room-style setting where guest will be able to enjoy music from Southern Wild, Grassy Spark, AKING, Bam Bam Brown, Majozi and Gemma Griffiths, among others. On Wednesday June 25, Grassy Spark and Southern Wild will be performing; on Wednesday July 25 AKING & Bam Bam Brown will take the stage; and on Wednesday August 29, Majozi and Gemma Griffiths will be performing. Drifter Brewing Company will provide drinks on arrival and the beers will be on sale throughout each event. A cash bar will be available. Tickets are limited to 180 an event, and cost R295 a night.
